It's the first week back to school and I'm settling into my new home and new classes. The weather in San Luis has been rainy and gross, so naturally I've been dreaming of the snowy mountain tops of Klingenthal, Germany instead. I had the pleasure of going with Angie to visit her grandparents before my own mother came to Deutschland. Angie's Oma and Opa were so kind and welcoming despite the fact we had a language barrier, and Opa was particularly interested in learning some English words while I was there which was sweet and entertaining. And you couldn't really beat the amazing traditional German dishes I was served.
